Beginning with the origins of the steelpan in Trinidad and Tobago, detailing how its development was shaped by colonization, slavery, and organic community innovation. It captures the instrument's journey from localized roots to international prominence, exploring how it spread across continents to influence music culture in places like Canada, Japan, Nigeria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
